Binaural Beats
Scientists have been studying the effects of auditory stimulation on living organisms for centuries. Binaural beats were first discovered by H. Wilhelm Dove in 1839, while the first public use of subliminal messages was recorded in 1943. However, music and mantras have been known since ancient times to induce altered mental states and certain physiological responses.
The complex influence of binaural beats on the human organism has been repeatedly proven. The most popular studies:

How do they work?
The brain constantly sends and receives electrical and chemical signals throughout the central nervous system (CNS). The more organized and complex electrical impulses are known as brainwaves. Brain activity (brainwaves) intensifies in different brain regions according to, i.e., the state of mind and tasks performed by the body. This particular phenomenon can be measured using an electroencephalogram (EEG). We primarily distinguish 6 brainwave patterns - delta (slowest), theta, alpha, SMR, beta, and gamma (fastest). Active awareness is shallow when the brain operates in the delta pattern (e.g., 1Hz), which usually occurs in a deep non-REM sleep. On the other hand, when brainwaves reach a gamma pattern (beyond 39Hz), the brain is highly aroused, e.g., while solving complex tasks. Each pattern corresponds to a specific brain activity. For example, certain patterns are associated with pituitary activity, while others intensify during hypothalamus processing.
Binaural beats are two distinct audio frequencies played simultaneously to both ears that stimulate brainwaves and synchronize neural activities across the brain. For example, when your right ear is exposed to 100Hz and the right ear to 95Hz, the brain will synchronize brainwaves correspondingly to the difference between them - a 5Hz pattern, causing neurons to send out electrical impulses at the same rate as the beat, triggering specific reactions related to the brain state (i.e., physiological, biochemical, transcriptional). This means that whenever you're exposed to binaural beats, your brain triggers specific bodily responses, e.g., activating adrenal glands while increasing brainwaves activity in the gamma pattern, or under by exposure to different patterns stimulates the hypothalamus-pituitary gland, enhancing the release of GnRH, LH, FSH, etc. Each individual frequency is responsible for a specific and unique response of the brain and then of an organ, muscle, etc. This makes binaural beats a very powerful tool that can elicit precisely intended reactions from the body.
Further research
Over the past few years, I have conducted various experiments using EEG under the guidance of trusted doctors in medicine and psychology. The research was primarily focused on the influence of binaural beats on physical performance, the functioning of the endocrine system, and mental states. Studies disclosed that optimally composed binaural beats can affect the organism through multiple mechanisms, e.g., by stimulating glial cells and the HPT (hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular) axis, enhancing the production of steroid hormones. The results led to conclusions consistent with publicly available studies on the correlation between binaural beats and cognitive functions, physiological responses, and mindset. Year after year, binaural beats are proving to be an excellent tool for enhancing physical performance and mental processes through regular exposure to them.
Extension
Steroid Binaural Frequencies actively modulate glial activity. Glial cells are non-neuronal cells that participate in hormonal regulation and synthesis of endogenous neuroactive steroids. Modulating their activity directly affects brain functions, initiating biochemical processes correlated with regular administration of exogenous steroids. Furthermore, binaural beats have great potential to stimulate the entire HPT (hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular) axis and condition a desired response, directly stimulating testicles to produce testosterone, inducing effects related to the administration of actual steroids, e.g., increased water and glycogen retention in muscles, enhancement of muscle protein synthesis, changes in the state of mind, improved physical and mental performance, etc.
- So are Steroid Frequencies safe for the endocrine system?
- Yes, they are. Binaural Steroid Frequencies, through the Auditory Steady-State Response (ASSR), guide and teach the body how to optimize its endogenous/own production of steroid hormones, thus improving its biological functions (e.g., by activating the male HPG right from the top / GnRH -> LH + FSH -> Testosterone). The endocrine system does not become dependent on external stimulation and does not suppress steroidogenesis. Instead, it enhances the endogenous production of steroid hormones for an extended period.
